In August 2025, Korou Foundation hosted a quiet high tea gathering at Carrie’s & Co. in Imphal—an evening designed not as an event, but as a shared moment.
There was no stage, no fixed agenda, and no formal speeches. Instead, the room filled naturally with friends, families, entrepreneurs, business owners, and socially engaged individuals from across the city, all sitting together over tea. What unfolded was something rare: open, honest conversations about money—beyond numbers and balances.
The discussions moved toward what money often represents but is seldom spoken about—confidence, freedom, dignity, and choice. Stories were shared about personal journeys with financial awareness, and how small shifts in understanding can ripple outward, shaping families, relationships, and long-term stability. It became clear that meaningful financial change doesn’t arrive through grand moments, but through everyday conversations—around dining tables, within households, and among people we trust.
The gathering served as a gentle reminder that impact doesn’t require a platform or scale to begin. It starts with self-awareness, grows within families, and slowly expands into our circles and communities. More than a moment, the evening became a mirror—reflecting the quiet power of intentional spaces and honest dialogue.
Korou Foundation extends its gratitude to everyone who joined the conversation with openness and care, and to Carrie’s & Co. for hosting us in their warm and welcoming space. As Korou continues its work, we remain committed to creating small, thoughtful, and sincere spaces—because that is where real change takes root.
